The Call Trace feature has been updated and provides traces that are far more interactive, and easy to use, and at the same time offer greater insight into call flows.
New Interactive Format
A new .svg format has been added, which will now normalize the look and feel to traces in the portal. For this example, we'll use the portal. You get to call traces much like before:
This will open the .svg file in the browser:
Because of the size of some traces, Ctrl+F can be harder to use. The trace now comes with a built-in search feature.
Your results will appear highlighted in the text box on the left, allowing you to filter quickly.
Sharing is as simple as using the button on the top of the trace.
When clicked, the button will copy a link to the full URL in your clipboard. This can be downloaded or shared as needed. Shared traces are automatically added to another database where they will be held indefinitely, in case they need to be referenced in the future. Keep in mind that events data that is used to create call traces is by default retained for 10 days.
