6. Creating Speed Dials with BLF (Busy Lamp Field)

The UC+ softphone supports the creation of speed dials which at the same time can be used as BLFs to check the status of the user.

 

This is how BLF statuses are displayed on the app:

 

IDLE

 

 

 

RINGING

 

 

 

ON CALL

 

 

To create speed dials/BLFs select the “Quick Dial” option from the main menu and tap the “+” icon

 

 

 

A screen will be show asking to enter the “Title” and the “Number or SIP Address”.

 

 

 

In the “Title” you can enter any description that allows easily identification of the user.

In the “Number or SIP Address” you must enter the user’s extension and the domain number separated by “@” as follows:

 

 


 

Make sure that “Enable Busy Lamp Field” has been enabled if you want to monitor the status of the user.

Keep in mind that only users that belong to the same domain where the UC+ is registered can be monitored,

BLF will not work with users from another domains.

 

 

Once the required information has been entered tap “Save”, after that the following screen will be shown:

 

 

Select “DONE” to complete the provisioning.
