through becoming compliant as an Interconnected VoIP Provider and will also get
you started with the process of fulfilling these requirements. Your assigned training representative will
reference this article during your on-boarding process and use it as a guide.
The information is broken into 3
sections:
1. Registering with the Federal Communications
Commission (FCC):
a. Understanding the requirements of an
Interconnected VoIP Provider with the FCC.
b. Creating your new CORES Account.
c. Filing for your new Federal Registration Number
(FRN).
2. Registering with the Universal Service Administrative
Company (USAC):
a. Understanding the requirements of an
Interconnected VoIP Provider with the USAC.
b. Creating your new USAC Account.
c. Filing for your new 499 Filer ID.
3. Registering with the Robocall Mitigation
Database (RMD):
a. Understanding the requirements of an
Interconnected VoIP Provider with the RMD.
b. Creating your Robocall Mitigation Plan.
c. Filing your Robocall Mitigation Plan.
