2FA adds a security layer to users logging into
the PBX Dashboard with a non-RingOS URL
1- Open a ticket to request 2FA to be enabled for
your reseller account.
2- Once 2FA has been enabled, install Google
Authenticator on your mobile device.
3- Login into the PBX Dashboard and open your
Profile.

4- In the section “Change Account Security” click
on “Set Up Google Authenticator”
5- A QR code will be shown
6- Open Google Authenticator and click on “+” then
select “Scan a QR code”
7- Aim your mobile device camera to the QR code
shown in the PBX Dashboard.
Automatically a new passcode record will be added to the Authenticator App.
8- Enter the passcode shown in the Authenticator
app into the “Passcode” textbox in the PBX Dashboard.
Also enter your Current Password (mandatory).
9- Click on “Save”
If there is an error message, make sure the passcode has not
recently changed, it changes every 30 seconds,
Also make sure your current password is correct.
10- Logout and login back, now Two-Factor
Authentication will be required
Note: Two-Factor Authentication will only be requested by
the PBX Dashboard when accessing it via a non-RingOS url,
RingOS supports
Single Sign On (SSO) which is used instead of Two-Factor Authentication.
