What is WebFax? 

WebFax by RingLogix is an advanced and flexible internet fax solution that allows users to send and receive faxes using their email, web portal, or traditional fax machines with the help of a Fax ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapter). WebFax is seamlessly integrated into the RingLogix hosted PBX and RingOS platform, providing a unified communication experience for resellers and their customers. 
 

Key Features of WebFax 
 
Email to Fax: WebFax enables users to send faxes directly from their existing email client, such as Microsoft Outlook, to any fax number. Users can send a simple note or attach files (supports multiple popular formats). After sending, users receive real-time confirmations via email, ensuring their fax was delivered successfully.

Fax to Email: Receive faxes directly in your inbox! Faxes are sent securely via TLS encryption (if supported by the recipient’s email service) and arrive in standard PDF or TIFF format for easy viewing.

Web to Fax: This feature allows users to send faxes directly from the RingLogix web portal. Simply log into the user portal, input the necessary details, and send faxes with ease. Real-time status reporting allows users to track their fax’s delivery status.

PC to Fax (Print to Fax): With PC to Fax, users can send a fax by simply “printing” a document directly from their computer. After selecting the fax printer option, the fax is securely transmitted to the recipient.

Fax to Fax: Traditional fax machines are still supported through our Fax ATA, which converts faxes into digital signals and transmits them securely over the internet. This eliminates the issues typically associated with T.38 fax transmissions (packet loss, jitter) and ensures reliable delivery, even over poor internet connections.
