How to configure a Conterpath Bria softphone for a Hosted PBX User.

First you will need to ‘add a phone’ to the user and retrieve the SIP credentials.

*You only need to add a phone if this device is an addon to the main device.

After downloading and installing the app from the applicable app store…

  1. Go to the Accounts tab, click Add Account and select SIP Making Calls.

                            

 

  1. On the Account Details page enter the following details:
  • Account Name: Any nickname is ok.
  • Display As: desired internal caller ID name.
  • Username: SIP Username
  • Password: SIP Password
  • Domain: {domainID}.core1-mia.ringlogix.com o For example: 123456.core1-mia.ringlogix.com
  • VM Number: *98
                 

  1. Once all information has been entered press the back arrow ß on the top left corner of the screen. Wait a few seconds and the new account should show green or registered.
