About Vertical Types Selecting the appropriate vertical type from TCR’s limited yet broad category list can be challenging. Refer to our TCR Brand Vertical Types Guide for assistance.
Entering the Correct Tax ID United States: Use the nine-digit EIN from the IRS. Ensure the legal company name matches IRS records, including correct spelling and address.Canada: From July 27th, only the Business Number (BN) will be accepted. Until then, either BN or Corporation/Incorporation/Registry ID numbers are acceptable. Use the first 9 digits of the BN. Below is an example of a Canadian BN: Tax/Corporation ID field: 123456789RT0001
Brand Identity Verification Each brand undergoes an identity verification process. TCR validates the EIN, legal company name, and address with independent sources. Verification status (Verified/Unverified) is available in the RingOS portal.
Unverified Brands Unverified Brands can not register 10DLC Campaigns. Please see your options for managing Unverified campaigns.
Please ensure all brand details are correct before resubmission.
Class/Tier Assignment Brands in the Russell 3000 are automatically assigned classes (AT&T) or tiers (T-Mobile). Verified brands not in the Russell 3000 can improve their assignment through vetting.
Vetting CSPs can apply for vetting via TCR’s partners to access special use cases or improve service quality. Current vetting partner: Aegis Mobile, $40.00 one-time fee.
Updating Brand Details Errors or changes in brand information can be updated and resubmitted for verification for a $5.00 fee. Please contact support for assistance.
Website/Online Presence Include any customer website or social media presence. The aggregator will verify the business through these channels. Websites must be working, secure, and aligned with messaging use cases. Acceptable vs. Rejected Criteria Website:
